Losing the Thread

This work was inspired by reading ‘Iris’, the touching biography of the late Iris Murdoch written by her husband John Bailey.  I wanted to capture their special, almost childlike relationship and chaotic home.  I left the thread loose and unravelling to depict the effect of Altzheimer’s disease on the academic mind.
